Code of Conduct
We’re proud of our digital community– it thrives on collaboration, inclusivity and the freedom to explore exciting new possibilities. We want to encapsulate that spirit at Digital Wave by encouraging a positive environment that’s safe, friendly and inspiring for everyone – regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, religion or otherwise.
Diversity in all its forms is welcomed in our industry – after all, some of the most progressive ideas come from collaborating with people that have different perspectives to our own.
Digital Wave is all about discovery – there’s no such thing as a silly question here. We’re all here to learn and share knowledge, so you should not only be looking to get your questions answered, but be supportive of anyone else doing the same.
If you act in a way that hurts or negatively affects others, you’ll be directly contradicting the spirit of Digital Wave. We expect you to follow the rules your school or college enforces as well as our code of conduct, and reserve the right to remove anyone not doing so from the event.
If you experience harassment or feel uncomfortable, please alert someone. We want you to have a great time, so let your teacher or an organiser know and we’ll do our best to help.
You’ll meet a lot of new people at Digital Wave – so treat them as you’d like to be treated and enjoy finding out about the opportunities digital has to offer.
